Five-minute strawberry jam is pleasant to make and even more pleasant to eat. It turns out sweet, but not cloying, not too thick, and, it is worth noting, more healthy than the traditional one. An important bonus is the speed of preparing this jam: pre-processing the berries and rolling up the jars will take you more time than the cooking itself. Surprising but true! Strawberry jam is a real “five-minute” jam: it bears such a name quite deservedly. Spend this funny time - and then in winter you will have the opportunity not only to remember summer, but also to physically feel its taste and aroma!

Prepare five-minute strawberry jam jars. Wash them with baking soda or detergent, then sterilize them in any way convenient for you. Let dry.
Wash the strawberries under running water and dry them by placing them on a paper towel. Then remove the stems and place in a large, deep ovenproof bowl or saucepan.
Pour sugar into the container with the strawberries in an even layer. Place the berries in the refrigerator for 4–5 hours. Check that the refrigerator temperature is at least 4°C.
Bring the candied strawberries with the resulting juice to a boil over low heat and remove the foam with a slotted spoon. Cook for 5 minutes, then pour into jars and seal with lids. Turn out onto a double folded towel and let cool completely.
