You can serve oatmeal with pumpkin for breakfast and be sure that your loved ones will go to work or school well-fed and in a good mood. In addition to the fact that this dish is tasty and aromatic, it is also very beautiful: the orange pieces transform it in the most magical way. The cooking process is very simple: first, pumpkin slices are lightly caramelized with sugar in butter, then stewed in water, and then milk and oatmeal are added to them, and the porridge is cooked until fully cooked. Just half an hour - and a wonderful dish will appear on your table that will make your morning truly good.

Cut the pumpkin pulp into cubes with a side of 1–2 cm. Melt 15 g of butter in a saucepan. Add pumpkin, regular and vanilla sugar, and salt. Stirring, fry over low heat for 5 minutes.
Pour drinking water into the pot with the pumpkin. Bring to a boil and simmer, covered, over low heat for 5 minutes. Add milk. Bring quickly to a boil over high heat, then reduce to medium.
Add oatmeal. Stirring, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook, stirring, for about 10 minutes. The porridge should thicken. Add the remaining oil and stir. Turn off the heat. Close the pan with porridge. Leave on the hot stove for another 10 minutes.
