Tenderness salad with chicken, prunes and walnuts is one of the most popular holiday treats. There is no single recipe according to which it is usually prepared. Some housewives use mushrooms and smoked chicken as a base, others use pineapples and ham. We suggest combining poultry, prunes and aromatic walnuts dried in a frying pan with eggs and cucumber. The taste is unusually delicate, thanks to the multi-layered nature. If you want to give the salad a little sophistication and lightness, replace half of the mayonnaise with full-fat sour cream mixed with lemon juice and chopped zest. Instead of boiling chicken fillet, you can bake it in the oven with garlic and herbs. This is also delicious, and, moreover, healthy.

Start preparing the Tenderness salad with chicken, prunes and walnuts by preparing all the ingredients according to the list. Boil the chicken fillet in salted water until tender (it will take about 30 minutes). Cool.
Boil the eggs for about 7 minutes, then add cold water. Cool and peel off the shells. Rinse fresh cucumber in running water and dry.
Steam the prunes. To do this, put it in a mug and fill it with hot water. Leave for 5 minutes. Then drain the water and rinse the dried fruits with cold water. Cut the prunes into small cubes.
Place the walnuts in a heated frying pan and dry them a little. A characteristic aroma should appear. Then grind them in a mortar or cut them with a knife.
Lay out the salad in layers. You can use a special ring. Place the chicken fillet in the first layer and press it down with a spoon. Lubricate with a small amount of mayonnaise.
Then spread chopped prunes on the chicken in a second layer, and diced cucumber and walnuts on top of it. Lubricate all layers with a thin layer of mayonnaise.
The last layer is grated eggs. Remove the ring. Place the salad in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours. Before serving, garnish with herbs.
