Walnuts in cranberry jam are a little gift every time. After lying in thick red syrup, hard pieces of nut become soft and are immediately imbued with both the sweetness and sourness of cranberries. Such jam will turn, for example, the simplest semolina porridge into a masterpiece - if you lay it out in layers, letting each one cool a little and topping it with cranberry jam with walnuts - what is not Guryev's porridge?

To make cranberry walnut jam, carefully chop all the walnuts into pieces. Each half of the kernel must be cut into 4 parts.
Sort the cranberries, removing the stems and leaves. Pour the sorted berries into a jam bowl or a wide saucepan/saucepan with a thick bottom, pour in drinking water, and grind the mixture with an immersion blender so that small pieces remain.
Place the basin/pan/saucepan over high heat, bring to a boil, add sugar. Cook until sugar dissolves. As soon as it boils, start skimming off the foam. Reduce heat to medium.
After 10–15 minutes. After the cranberry jam boils, carefully add the prepared nuts, reduce the heat to low and cook the contents of the selected container for 20–25 minutes.
Remove the cranberry walnut jam from the heat. Place the hot jam into sterilized jars, close them and cool the jars upside down.
