To prepare simple sea buckthorn jam, sort out the berries, rinse under running water, and dry on a towel. Place in a container in which you will cook the jam. Pour water into a saucepan, add sugar, put on fire and, stirring, bring to a boil. Cook for 10 minutes.
Pour hot syrup over sea buckthorn berries and leave for 4-5 hours.
Place the berries in a colander, put the syrup on the fire and simmer until thick. The syrup should flow from the spoon in a thick thick thread. Cool the syrup a little and pour over the berries again and put on fire. Bring the simple sea buckthorn jam to a boil over medium heat and cook for 5 minutes.
Place the finished jam into sterile jars, close the lids and cool.
