Baked beef liver is a quick and easy dish that's great for the whole family. No one doubts the benefits of this product - it is known that liver is easily digestible, and the omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids it contains help normalize cholesterol levels and strengthen the cardiovascular system. In addition, vitamin A, present in large quantities in the liver, has a positive effect on vision and supports the reproductive function of the body. In general, beef liver is a valuable component of dietary, children's and sports nutrition. Baked in the oven without pre-frying, beef liver with sour cream and onions turns out very tasty - tender, soft and juicy. Serve it for lunch or dinner straight from the oven, hot, with a side dish of potatoes, fluffy rice, couscous or roasted vegetables.

Pat the liver dry with paper towels. Place on the board and carefully remove the films. If necessary, remove fat, large veins and blood clots. Cut the liver into 1.5 cm thick slices.
Place the liver in a bowl, add milk and leave for 20 minutes at room temperature. Drain the milk, dry the liver again with paper towels, add salt and pepper.
In a deep frying pan, heat 2 tbsp. l. olive oil. Cut the onion into half rings and simmer over medium heat until translucent, 5 minutes. Increase heat to medium-high and cook onion until lightly golden, 1 minute.
10-15 minutes before the start of cooking, turn on the oven and set the heat to 180 °C. Place a wire rack on the middle level. Grease an ovenproof dish measuring 20-22x24-26 cm with the remaining olive oil.
Place the liver slices in a single layer. Place prepared onions on top. Spread the sour cream and smooth with a spatula. Season with salt, pepper and ground nutmeg.
Cover the pan with foil. Place the pan with the liver in the center of the oven and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the pan and remove the foil. Return the liver to the oven and bake for another 8 minutes.
Place the finished liver into plates, sprinkle with finely chopped parsley and serve immediately with a side dish of potatoes or fresh vegetable salad.
