Break the eggs into a deep bowl. Add sugar in several additions and mix eggs and sugar thoroughly. You can use a mixer and beat the mixture until thick foam. Then the pie will turn out very fluffy.
Sift the flour through a sieve. It's better to do this twice. Sifting will remove lumps from the flour and enrich it with oxygen. Thanks to this, the cake will become tender and airy.
Pour milk into a small saucepan and let it heat up. It is better to make a quiet fire. Watch the milk. It should heat up to about 60-70 degrees, but should not boil.
Stir half of the sifted flour into the egg mixture. You can not add everything at once, but introduce the flour in small parts. This will make kneading much easier. But don't try to achieve perfect uniformity just yet.
Add the entire volume of milk to the dough. Pour in a thin stream, stirring constantly. Once the milk has combined with the dough, add 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil to the bowl.
Add the remaining flour and now knead the dough thoroughly. It should become homogeneous, without lumps. To understand exactly how much flour is needed for a pie, focus on the consistency of the dough. It should be like thick sour cream.
Grease a heat-resistant pan with vegetable oil so that the cake does not stick to the walls and bottom during baking. You can use a split ring. It will also need to be greased with oil or covered with parchment.
Pour the dough into the baking dish and smooth it with a silicone spatula. To expel excess air bubbles from the bottom, you can lightly tap the pan on the table several times.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Place a wire rack on the middle level and a pan with dough on it. Bake at the indicated temperature for approximately 60 minutes. You can check the readiness of the pie with a wooden skewer.
After the cake is baked, leave it in the oven to cool. At least for 15-20 minutes. This is necessary so that the baked goods do not fall due to a sudden temperature change. Transfer the cooled pie to a plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Done, ready to serve!
