True, it cannot be called fast, but the result is definitely worth the time spent. Moreover, your active participation in the preparation of fermented baked milk is completely insignificant: you boiled the milk, simmered it in the oven and added sour cream. The last stage, during which the product itself is formed, generally occurs on its own, under the influence of stable heat. So, even a novice cook can take on putting our recipe into practice.

Pour milk for fermented baked milk into a saucepan. Place over medium heat and bring to a boil. Keep on the stove for another 2 minutes, then transfer to the oven, heated to 150°C.
Simmer the milk in the oven for 2–2.5 hours. If you want the finished fermented baked milk to acquire a pleasant creamy hue, cook for about three hours. Remove the pan and let cool to 40°C. Remove the foam with a slotted spoon.
Place sour cream in a small bowl. Pour in 200 ml of warm milk and mix thoroughly with a whisk. Pour the resulting mixture into a saucepan. Lightly whisk the warm milk and sour cream mixture.
Pour the contents of the pan into small jars. Close them and wrap them in a warm blanket. Leave in a warm place for 8 hours. As a result, fermented baked milk of a thick consistency is formed in the jars. Place the finished product in the refrigerator.
