Appetizing ruddy pollock in batter is an excellent dish for every day. Tender pieces of fillet under a thin openwork dough - what could be tastier? Pollock itself does not have a distinct taste. But very inexpensive and useful. Its meat is considered one of the most dietary, it contains a lot of protein and iodine. But many may not find it fat enough. Therefore, we will cook it in batter: it prevents the loss of juice, and the fish always turns out juicy. It is prepared from simple and affordable ingredients that can be found in every refrigerator. You can serve fish with almost any side dish. From herbed baked potatoes to regular pasta.

To prepare pollock in batter, prepare the fish: wash the fillet, dry with a paper towel. Cut into portions. Season with salt, pepper, dried dill and coriander.
Prepare the batter. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. In a bowl, combine kefir with eggs and cheese, beat. Add starch, bread crumbs and stir until smooth. Leave for 20 minutes.
Heat vegetable oil in a large frying pan. Dip the fish fillet into the batter so that it covers all sides. Place in the pan at a short distance from each other.
Fry the pollock fillet on one side and then turn it over to the other side with a wooden spatula. Cook for a few more minutes. The pieces should become golden brown.
Line a plate with two or three layers of paper towels. Place fish on them to remove excess fat. Cook all the pollock fillets in this manner.
Distribute the fish among plates and serve as a separate dish with sauce or with your favorite side dish. Sprinkle with chopped herbs if desired.
