Step 1

Peel the onion and potatoes, chop finely. Fry the onion in hot oil until soft, 5 minutes, add the potatoes and cook for another 2 minutes.

Add flour fried in a dry frying pan until creamy and, stirring, gradually pour in milk. Bring to a boil, add bay leaf, half the corn, salt and black pepper. Cook covered for 20 minutes, then remove the bay leaf. While the soup is cooking, cut the bacon into small pieces and fry in a dry frying pan until crispy.

Puree the soup and return to the pan. Pour in the cream, add the remaining corn and heat to the desired temperature. Sprinkle with bacon.
