If you have some frozen dumplings left in the freezer, prepare a delicious and aromatic soup with them. This recipe will help if you need to quickly and heartily feed the family with a hot lunch. Dumpling and vegetable soup turns out tasty, nutritious, and appetizing. It can be prepared with water, but it will be more delicious with vegetable or chicken broth. It is very convenient to prepare chicken broth in advance and freeze it in small portions for later use as needed.

chicken broth - 2 l
Frozen dumplings - 200 g
Potato - 4 pc
bell pepper - 1 pc
Carrot - 1 pc
Onion - 1 pc
Butter - 30 g
Refined vegetable oil - 30 ml
Salt - 1 tsp
Ground black pepper - 0.3 tsp
Dried garlic - 0.3 tsp
Ground paprika - 0.3 tsp
Bay leaf - 2 pc
Allspice - 3 pc
Greens (dill and parsley) - 1 bunch

Wash the potatoes and peel them. Cut the vegetables into medium-sized cubes.

Lower the chopped potatoes into a pot with boiling chicken broth. Cover the pot with a lid and simmer the vegetables over low heat.

Peel the onion, cut it into small cubes. Wash the bell pepper, cut it in half, remove the core with seeds. Cut the pepper into small cubes, like the onion. Wash the carrot, peel it, and grate it with a large-grated grater.

In the pan, combine the butter and vegetable oil. When the mixture heats up, place the chopped vegetables in the pan. Stirring, sauté the onion with carrot and bell pepper over low heat until soft.

Add sautéed vegetables to the soup, stir.

Next, lower the frozen dumplings into the pot. Stir and continue to simmer the soup over low heat for 10 minutes to cook the dumplings.

At the end of cooking, add finely chopped parsley and dill leaves, salt, and spices for flavor to the soup.

Pour the ready aromatic soup with dumplings and vegetables into serving plates, add sour cream to taste, and serve at the table.
