Turn chocolate into a delicate crumb! Break it into pieces and use a blender to bring it to a fine powder. This will be the basis of your future truffles!
Create a fragrant, creamy elixir! In a saucepan, combine cream, rum (or brandy), and butter. In a water bath, stirring constantly, bring the mixture to a boil. As soon as the first bubbles appear, remove the saucepan from the heat.
Combine chocolate and cream elixir! In a thin stream, pour the cream mixture into the crushed chocolate, whisking constantly with a blender until smooth. Transfer the resulting mixture to a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate overnight.
Prepare to sculpt truffle balls! Use a teaspoon to scoop up the chocolate mixture and form small balls, as if creating small works of art. Arrange the balls into four groups – each group has its own unique destiny.
Create a nutty paradise! Grind nuts in a mortar or blender until they become crumbs. Roll some of the truffles in these fragrant nut crumbs, then send them to the refrigerator to harden – let the nutty flavor fully unfold.
Prepare the chocolate glaze! Melt the chocolate and butter in a water bath, creating a glossy chocolate river. Carefully dip the balls into this mass, remove them, and place them on a board or flat dish. Let the glaze harden in the refrigerator so that each ball turns into a real chocolate diamond.
Transform truffles into cocoa clouds! Sift cocoa powder onto a cutting board or flat dish. Roll the balls in it, creating a matte, velvety texture. Send these cocoa clouds to the refrigerator to make the taste even richer.
Dip the truffles in coconut snow! Roll the remaining balls in coconut flakes, creating a delicate and airy coconut coating. Place them in the refrigerator so that each ball acquires its unique texture.
Pack in a gift box! Once the truffles are completely set, gently transfer them to a beautiful gift box. Your homemade chocolate truffles are ready to delight loved ones with their exquisite taste and beauty!
