Get ready to surprise your loved ones! Start the culinary magic by preparing all the necessary ingredients: tender turkey breast fillet, fresh egg, fragrant cream, semolina, cornstarch, juicy onion, garlic, salt, paprika, and nutmeg. And don't forget the cling film – it will become your reliable assistant!
Remove the turkey breast from the films and cut it into small pieces. In a deep bowl, combine the sliced fillet with heavy cream, allowing the meat to soak in the delicate creamy flavor for 10 minutes. Let each piece be filled with juiciness!
Dice the onion and garlic into medium-sized cubes so that they are evenly distributed throughout the minced meat. Remove the turkey pieces from the cream, saving the cream for later use. Mince the turkey fillet, onion, and garlic twice through a meat grinder to obtain a tender and homogeneous mince. Add the cream and mix thoroughly. Now you have the perfect base for magical homemade sausages!
Add egg, semolina, starch and salt to the minced meat, mix until smooth. For color and aroma, add a pinch of sweet paprika and nutmeg. Mix all ingredients thoroughly and let the minced meat sit in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. This will allow the flavors to unfold and make the sausages even tastier!
Prepare rectangles of plastic wrap. Place a small portion of the minced meat in the center of each rectangle and shape it into a sausage with your hands. Wrap the plastic wrap tightly around the minced meat to avoid air pockets. Twist the ends of the plastic wrap and tie them securely with kitchen twine. Repeat this process with the remaining minced meat, creating one sausage after another.
Put the prepared turkey sausages in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours to stabilize their shape. Then you have two options: freeze them for future use, or boil them in boiling salted water, without removing the casing, for 10-12 minutes. The choice is yours!
After cooking, carefully transfer the homemade sausages to a cutting board and remove the plastic wrap from them. Transfer the fragrant sausages to plates and serve with your favorite side dish. Enjoy every bite of these delicious homemade turkey sausages!
