To begin, boil the frozen peas in boiling water for 3 minutes. Meanwhile, thoroughly wash and dry the basil and lettuce, then tear them into large pieces.
Drain the boiled peas in a colander to remove excess water. Then transfer them to a blender along with the prepared basil and lettuce and blend until smooth.
Transfer the resulting green mixture into a pot, then pour in the vegetable broth. Bring to a boil, season with salt and pepper to taste, then immediately remove from heat. Add the sour cream, stir well, and promptly ladle the soup into bowls or cups to enjoy its fresh flavor.
