These delightful cheese and cottage cheese balls are the perfect snack, ideal for serving with a variety of sauces, be it sour cream, yogurt, or mayonnaise. They also make an excellent accompaniment to your favorite beverages. They are incredibly quick to prepare: simply deep-fry the cheese and cottage cheese mixture in a flour coating for just 2–3 minutes. The result is an appetizing crispy crust on the outside and a tender, soft, gooey, creamy center on the inside. This is a dish that is sure to impress!

Peel the garlic cloves. Prepare a saucepan or a deep, heavy-bottomed skillet for the subsequent cooking.
Pass the cottage cheese through a sieve to make it smooth and uniform. Grate the hard cheese finely so it blends easily with the other ingredients.
In a large bowl, combine the strained cottage cheese and grated cheese. Add the flour and baking powder, then crack in the egg. Mix everything thoroughly until a uniform consistency is achieved.
Press the garlic or grate it finely. Add the minced garlic to the cheese and cottage cheese mixture and mix thoroughly once more, ensuring the flavors are evenly distributed.
From the resulting dough, form neat, walnut-sized balls. Then, roll each ball in breadcrumbs to ensure a crispy crust when fried.
Heat the vegetable oil well in a saucepan or deep skillet. Carefully place the prepared balls using a slotted spoon. Fry the cheese and curd balls until golden brown. Then, transfer them to a plate lined with a paper towel to absorb excess oil. After that, remove the towel.
Serve this delightful appetizer warm, enjoying it with your favorite beverages.
