We clean the sockeye salmon and cut it into steaks. The first steaks from the head and tails from two fish are poured with water and put on fire. I pray for water when it starts to boil.

When the broth with the fish boils and the fish is almost ready, remove the fish to a plate so that it cools down. Add rice to the broth. Chop carrots and potatoes and also add to the broth when the rice boils. During this time, the fish will cool down and it can be freed from bones and fins. When the potatoes and carrots are almost done, return the fish to the pot. Wash the greens, chop and add to the ear (I forgot to take a picture of everything except the chopped greens). The ear is ready.
