How to make thin Viennese waffles in a waffle maker? First, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. You can replace coconut milk with regular or other plant-based flour: oat, rice, etc. You can replace regular flour with any gluten-free flour: corn, oat, rice, etc. But keep in mind that other types of flour may need more or Less.
Sift flour with baking powder and cinnamon into a bowl. Thanks to sifting, the flour will be saturated with oxygen, and the finished waffles will be more tender and lush.
Peel the bananas and break them into pieces. Take bananas that are soft, fragrant, not overripe, but not hard green. The peel of bananas should be rich yellow without black dots.
Combine prepared bananas, coconut milk, oil and sugar in a blender. Beat everything until smooth.
Pour the resulting mixture into a bowl. Pour the flour mixture into the banana mass and mix. You may need more or less flour. If you are making waffles for the first time, pour the flour in parts. The dough should be thick, like pancakes. If the dough is too thick, add more milk. If, on the contrary, it is too thin, add a little more flour. Look at the consistency.
Preheat the electric waffle iron. Put some dough in the center and close the lid. Bake for 5-7 minutes until golden. The time is approximate, focus on your technique. If the waffles stick to the waffle maker, you can grease the panels with vegetable oil before baking each waffle.
