We prepare crispy and delicious sandwiches in the oven for breakfast. For the filling, we will use sausage, eggs, hard cheese, and favorite herbs. If desired, boiled sausage can be replaced with cervelat, ham, boiled chicken fillet, or homemade roast pork. In addition to hard cheese, mozzarella for pizza or suluguni are also suitable. Thanks to the butter mixed with spicy mustard, the sandwiches turn out very juicy and tender. They are perfect for a family breakfast and will make a hearty snack outdoors or on the go.

Boiled sausage - 400 g

Hard cheese - 150 g

In a small bowl, mix softened butter and spicy mustard (the amount can be adjusted to taste). Stir the butter-mustard mixture until smooth.
Cut the white bread into slices 1 cm thick.
Spread the slices of bread with a thin layer of the butter-mustard mixture.
In a deep dish, mix 3 chicken eggs, finely chopped greens, salt, and spices.
Grate the hard cheese on a large grater, add to the egg mixture. Mix the ingredients with a fork until the mixture is homogeneous.
Evenly spread half of the cheese and egg mixture on the bread, smeared with butter and mustard.
Cut the boiled sausage into rings 5 mm thick. Place the sausage products on the sandwiches.
Evenly distribute the remaining cheese-and-egg mixture over the slices of sausage.
Place the sandwiches with sausage, cheese, and eggs on a baking sheet lined with parchment.
Bake the sandwiches in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 12-15 minutes. When the eggs on the sandwiches are baked and the grated cheese melts, carefully remove the items from the oven.
Serve the fragrant hot sandwiches immediately after preparation, while they are still warm!
An excellent addition will be a salad of seasonal vegetables. Enjoy!
