Garnish and protect your pie: cover the pie with a lattice crust, remove excess dough, and carefully crimp the edges with a fork. Brush with a beaten egg for a golden color. You can make fun shapes from the leftover dough and bake them along with the pie. Let the pie rest in a warm place for about 15 minutes.
The finishing touch: send the pie to the oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake until the filling is cooked, about 30 minutes. Enjoy the aroma and taste of homemade pastries!
Breathe life into the dough: whisk the egg with milk, add vegetable oil, a pinch of salt and sugar. Gradually add flour and yeast to knead an elastic dough that does not stick to your hands. Experiment with the amount of flour to achieve the perfect consistency.
