How to make French Mistress salad with orange and raisins? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Choose a sweet and juicy orange.

Chicken fillet can be boiled in salted water or baked in the oven. I baked in foil. Wash the fillet, dry it. Rub the fillet with salt and spices. Use spices to taste.

Wrap the chicken tightly in foil.

Bake the chicken fillet in an oven preheated to 180°C for 25-30 minutes. The time and mode of cooking may be different, focus on the features of the oven.

Cool the chicken fillet, cut into small cubes.

Wash the carrots with a brush, cook at a moderate boil until ready. The finished vegetable should be easily pierced with a knife. Cool the carrot completely, peel and grate it.

Put the onion in a small bowl, add sugar, salt and vinegar. Pour boiling water over the onion, mix and leave to marinate until cool. The amount of water will depend on the amount of onions. It should cover the onion completely. Drain the water from the pickled onions.

Dry the walnuts in a pan while stirring for 3-4 minutes so that they become more fragrant. Chop the nuts with a knife.

Grate the cheese on a fine grater. You can use any cheese: hard, semi-hard, soft. The main thing is that it is tasty, high-quality, without milk fat substitutes.

The salad can be laid out in layers in a salad bowl of the appropriate size and shape or formed into a serving ring. I have a ring with a diameter of 16 cm. Place the serving ring on the plate. Put the prepared chicken fillet as the first layer. Pour the layer with mayonnaise.

Spread the pickled onions on top of the chicken fillet.

Put grated carrots in the next layer, smooth the layer with a spoon. Apply mayonnaise.

Spread the raisins evenly on the carrot layer.

Then distribute the grated cheese, smooth it out. And mayonnaise again.

Sprinkle chopped walnuts on top of the salad. Put the salad in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours to let it soak.
