Start with preparation: sift the flour through a fine sieve. Then, get your plastic wrap, baking sheet, and parchment paper ready so everything is at hand.
Transfer the cottage cheese into a deep bowl. Using a fork, thoroughly mash it until it forms fine crumbs.
Pour the kefir and vegetable oil into the cottage cheese. Mix the mixture thoroughly until a homogeneous consistency is achieved.
Add salt and sugar to the remaining ingredients, then mix everything thoroughly once more.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the tortillas on it and gently prick them with a fork. Place the items in a preheated oven for 20 minutes, until golden brown.
Serve the fragrant flatbreads, which pair perfectly with hot tea, for a cozy breakfast or snack.
To the sifted flour, add baking soda and mix again. Then, pour this mixture into the bowl with the cottage cheese and kefir mixture and knead a soft dough.
Cover the bowl with the dough with plastic wrap and leave it in a warm place for 20 minutes to rise.
Roll out the risen dough into a layer up to 1 cm thick. Cut it into circles or rectangles. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
