This is an elegantly simple way to prepare ahi tuna steaks that any restaurant would envy! Serve with soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.

Ahi tuna - 2 pc
Salt - 11 tsp
Ground black pepper - 0.3 tsp
Butter - ½ tbsp
Olive oil Filippo Berio Olive Oil - 2 tbsp
Pepper black peas - 1 tsp

Pat the tuna steaks dry and season on both sides with salt and cayenne pepper.

Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat.

Add olive oil and peppercorns; cook until peppers soften and begin to crackle, about 5 minutes.

Carefully place the seasoned tuna in the pan and cook until desired doneness, 30 seconds to 1 1/2 minutes per side.

Cut the tuna into 1/4-inch slices and serve.
