How to make mushrooms with walnuts? First, prepare all the necessary ingredients. Choose any mushrooms (I took frozen champignons), boil the fresh ones beforehand, and thaw the frozen ones at room temperature.
Heat the oil in a pan, put the mushrooms and salt, fry until the excess water evaporates.
Put the mushrooms on a separate dish.
Peel the onion, rinse with cold water and cut into small pieces.
Fry the onion until golden in the pan where the mushrooms were cooked.
Grind the walnuts using a blender or mortar.
Peel the garlic and add to the nuts.
Grind again.
Add fried onions, walnuts and garlic to the mushrooms and add vinegar with spices. In Georgia, wine or apple vinegar is more often used, but I took ordinary table vinegar, 9%.
Gradually mix all the ingredients, decorate with greens or pomegranate seeds to your taste and serve hot or cold. Bon appetit!
