Begin by preparing your ingredients: thoroughly wash and pat dry the chicken fillet, then carefully remove any membranes and sinews. Don't forget to wash the cabbage, eggs, and walnuts. Sift the flour to aerate it. Prepare a frying pan and a saucepan – they will soon be needed for some culinary magic.
Crack the eggs into a deep bowl and whisk them lightly until well combined.
Pour the milk into the beaten eggs and mix thoroughly until a smooth mixture is formed.
Add the sifted flour to the egg and milk mixture. Stir until you have a completely smooth batter without any lumps.
Heat a skillet with vegetable oil over medium heat. Pour in a small amount of batter, spreading it evenly and thinly over the entire surface to create a perfect pancake.
Fry the pancake on one side until golden brown, then carefully flip it over and cook for a few more minutes until done. Repeat this process to cook the second pancake.
Place the chicken fillet in a pot and cover it completely with water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and cook the meat for 20-25 minutes until fully done.
Allow the cooked chicken to cool. Afterward, cut it into small pieces or shred it into tender strands by hand.
Slice the pancakes into thin, elegant strips so they blend harmoniously into the salad.
Slice the ham into small sticks or thin strips, so it blends perfectly with the other ingredients.
Finely shred the Napa cabbage to add freshness and crunch to the salad.
Spread the walnuts on a table and crush them with a rolling pin or knife to achieve the perfect crumb for your salad.
Transfer all the chopped ingredients into a deep bowl, preparing to create a culinary masterpiece.
Squeeze excess liquid from the Korean carrots, then add them to the bowl with the salad and mix thoroughly to combine all the flavors.
Add mayonnaise to the salad and mix well again, so that every piece is coated in the delicate sauce.
Transfer the prepared salad to an attractive salad bowl and serve, garnishing it with walnut halves for a memorable presentation.
