Prepare all the necessary ingredients and kitchen utensils. Thoroughly rinse the pork under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels. Peel the onion and garlic. Get ready a meat tenderizer, plastic wrap, a garlic press, as well as a frying pan and a baking sheet.
Slice the pork into individual steaks. Carefully tenderize each piece of meat with a mallet to make it more succulent.
Mince the garlic using a press. If you don't have a press, you can finely grate the garlic or chop it with a knife.
In a separate bowl, combine the minced garlic, dried herbs, and freshly ground black pepper. Mix thoroughly.
Evenly rub the prepared marinade onto both sides of each pork cutlet.
Stack the marinated steaks on a plate, cover with plastic wrap, and let them marinate for 1 hour to allow the meat to absorb the flavors.
Pour 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil into a frying pan and heat thoroughly on the stove. Fry the pork steaks for 3 minutes on each side over high heat until golden brown.
Slice the onion into rings. Grease a baking sheet with 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and arrange the onion rings evenly on it.
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Transfer the seared pork steaks from the pan to a baking sheet or baking dish, placing them over the onions.
Place the baking sheet or dish with pork into the preheated oven. Bake the meat for about 30-40 minutes, until fully cooked and tender.
Transfer the cooked pork to an attractive flat serving dish. Arrange the roasted onions, which imparted extra flavor to the meat, on top. Serve this magnificent dish with boiled potatoes, a few broccoli florets, or fresh vegetables for a complete and delicious dinner.
Add soy sauce to the spice and garlic mixture. Mix thoroughly to create a flavorful marinade for the meat.
