Gather all the necessary items: peel the onion, and get out the meat grinder and air fryer with its rack. This will help you prepare everything quickly and easily.
Carefully remove the crusts from the bread, then soak the soft part in milk. Leave it for 10 minutes so it can thoroughly absorb the liquid and become tender.
Pass the fish through a meat grinder to get a delicate mince. Squeeze excess milk from the soaked bread and add it to the fish. Beat in an egg, season with salt and pepper to give the patties a rich flavor.
Thoroughly mix the minced meat until smooth. Then, shape it into neat oval or flat patties that will bake perfectly.
Preheat the air fryer to 230°C. Grease the rack with oil to prevent the patties from sticking. Coat each patty in breadcrumbs, place them on the rack, and air fry for 20 minutes until golden brown.
